About Ojeda
Ojeda and Sunnyview - A sanctuary in rural Victoria, a small urban garden in Melbourne.
Ojeda is named for my mother’s family - gentle, resilient souls who loved their gardens and the farm that sustained them. My mother, Elizabeth, who frequently accompanied me on my search for a rural sanctuary, was the very first person I introduced to my first wild plot.
Much of what Ojeda is, is a continuation of my mother’s spirit - handcrafted scents from beloved flora cradled in this rural spot and my urban garden, steeped in the spirit of the seasons that guided their growth... precious flora from the bellies of the sister properties… slow-stitched treasures by the skills that my mother taught me… and illustrations from my meditations within these surrounds.
